• Websites

  Websites are our bread and butter - we design them, build them and host them.

  From creating a simple 4 page brochure site to a fully integrated database driven e-commerce site, we can do it all. All our websites meet WAI W3C recommendations are fully search engine optimised and technically excellent.

  But above all we remember the whole point of a website - that it has, in the end, to support your business. Be that by demonstrating your brand, showing your company ethos, or selling loads of products, at the end of the day the website is there for a reason.

• CMS

  A Content Management System (CMS), at a basic level, allows you to access a website and make changes to it in a simple, user-friendly environment, so you don’t need a degree in quantum web development!

  For more complex websites such as e-commerce or database driven sites, the CMS allows you to manage every facet of the site, from products, pricing, delivery, imagery, etc.

• Games

  We all love a good game don’t we? Probably one of the reasons why they are so successful when used in digital marketing. They keep people on site, generate viral spread and enhance your brand - when done well.

  You can get it horribly wrong, you really can. But fear not, work with Mobious on developing your next game, and you can sit back and relax, ’cos we really know how to make a game work for you.

  Super Active Challenge was developed when NewcastleGateshead Initiative needed to engage the over 30’s in the North East with a message surrounding all the great things you can do in the region to be fit and active. Our solution was simple - a retro 1980’s style athletics game. Now doesn’t that take you back to your childhood sitting in front of the Commodore 64?

  One of our favourite games, Rocket Ranger, was created for Gateshead College to support the recruitment campaign we developed. The theme ‘How Far Will You Go’ challenged 16-19 year olds to believe in their potential to be, whoever they wanted to be. The game drew on that theme by letting them see how far they could fire a funky alien out of a cannon and across an alien planet, tenuous link we know, but it was a great game and with over a million plays it seems the target audience liked it too.

  Sometimes you have to practice what you preach, so in Christmas 2007, we created Santa Sumo, our own online game, linked into a nifty little viral which saw our MDs Iain and Martin running through Newcastle city centre dressed as Sumo Wrestlers!

• Apps

  Apps, or applications, are great. There are apps for iPhone, various Android platforms, and Blackberry amongst others. And then there are online or ‘web apps’ - we’ve built some pretty neat apps over the years, all of which sit within sites and allow people to do things more easily.

  Take Coors Light for example. When they needed an online outlet finder, we built an application that allowed them to create an outlet finder for various sectors easily and with minimum time. So then Pitcher and Piano wanted one - done! Mitchell and Butlers needed one, done - you get the picture?

  Lloyds TSB autolease needed an online calculator to allow customers to calculate whole life costs, no problem. Oh, and Sage needed an application to allow members of their Accountant’s Club to create and print off personalised marketing collateral from a secure web environment, so we built that too.
