+1 button coming to Google AdWords

Google have announced a major paid for search development. In the coming weeks Google will introduce the “+1” button on paid for search ads. This new button will allow search users to recommend your ads! It’s effectively a way for people to say they like your business and would recommend your product or services.

Google is also making the +1 button available to put on your website so visitors to your site will be able to recommend it too. +1 is effectively the same as Facebook’s “Like” button and Twitter’s “Tweet this,” in that it will allow Google users to share search results and adverts on Google, but they will need a Google Account to do so!

Just how Google will make use of the data behind this function is unclear right now, but you can expect the number of +1 clicks you get to impact on quality score so it’s a major change.

So how do you get the +1 button on your Adwords? Easy, Google are doing it automatically,  it will roll out over the next few weeks – you don’t need to do anything, other than be aware of the change.

Check out our YouTube Channel for a great introduction video to the +1 Button. (http://www.youtube.com/mobiousdigital).
